BIO
I am honored to welcome you to the world of storytelling and healing through our organization, Battle Comics, Inc. As the founder of Battle Comics Geovannie Cano and spokesperson of this initiative, I am inspired by the transformative power of storytelling and the healing it can bring to our veterans.
My journey began with a personal experience of struggle and resilience during my service in combat operations in Iraq in 2006. Through the challenges I faced, including being awarded the Purple Heart and surviving a near-death experience, I discovered the healing potential of sharing my story through the creative medium of comic books. This led me to create my own series, and eventually, to the inception of Battle Comics, Inc.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to help veterans find therapy, purpose, and creativity through the art of storytelling and comic book creation. We believe that every veteran has a unique and valuable story to tell, and through our programs, we aim to provide them with the tools and resources to share their experiences in a meaningful and empowering way.

The success of Quantum Man ignited my passion to continue this journey, leading to my current work on a third series. My vision is to revolutionize the comic book industry, crafting narratives that honor untold valor from Vietnam to present-day conflicts.
